We are happy to introduce a new local Foothills business, Foothills Plumbing. Last August Chris and Melisa Schmeets relocated from Vashon Island near Seattle where their families have lived for five generations to the east side of the state, providing better opportunities for their children while bringing them closer to another branch of their extended family tree. They stumbled upon the Foothills almost by accident and have immediately settled into a wonderful 20-acre spread up on Jacobs Road, enjoying the convenience of country life without the isolation and ferry-dependency of island life!
One of the exciting aspects of their family’s big move is setting up a new local Foothills branch of the plumbing business they have been successfully operating on Vashon for more than 15 years. Chris and Melisa are excited to be able to offer residential and commercial plumbing services to the Foothills. Chris really enjoys repair and maintenance plumbing challenges, including installations, restorations, and replacements of water heaters, toilets, faucets, you name it.
